المملكة: It reaches 5 million riyals .. penalties and fines for foreign trucks that violate inside the Kingdom
The General Transport Authority announced the start of the implementation of the provisions of the road transport system on the roads, according to Cabinet Resolution No. (614) and the date of 19 Shaaban 1446 AH corresponding to February 18, 2025 AD, related to foreign trucks that violate the transport of goods within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The penalties include financial fines of no less than 10 thousand riyals and up to 5 million riyals, and the reservation of the violating foreign truck for a period of no less than two weeks and up to two months, in addition to the confiscation of the truck in the event of a repeat of the violation and the removal of non -Saudi who practice the transportation activity without a license.

She explained that the work of foreign trucks is limited to transporting goods from outside the Kingdom to a specific arrival city or transporting goods on their way to return to the country coming from them from the city of arrival itself or cities that are located on the path of the road to return only.
The authority called on all foreign carriers and trucks to adhere to regulations and legislation, and benefit from official channels to obtain the necessary licenses, in a way that ensures the continuity of their business within the regular framework, and enhances the reliability of the transportation sector in the Kingdom; To be more efficient and sustainable.
