"Compassion" 20 thousand food baskets are distributed by 4 million dirhams
Dubai, March 8 / WAM / The Tarameh Charitable Foundation in Dubai distributed 20 thousand food baskets at a cost of more than 4 million dirhams to the needy families and those with low incomes in a number of emirates and regions of the country, within the “Al -Ramadan” initiative, one of its charitable initiatives during the month of Ramadan.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Taklouk, Director General of the Tarmam Charitable Foundation, said that the initiative aims to provide the basic needs of families benefiting in the holy month, mitigating and making them happy, stressing the Foundation’s keenness to meet the food and living needs of needy families.
He pointed out that the Foundation is cooperating with many of the competent authorities to deliver food baskets to the largest number of beneficiaries in various regions of the country.
He explained that the Foundation, in addition to the distribution of food baskets, is implementing other projects during the month of Ramadan, such as breaking the fast, distributing zakat al -Fitr, and providing Eid and Eid clothing to orphans.
