المملكة: In the field of inventions, King Faisal University achieves a new global achievement

King Faisal University has made a new global achievement issued by the list of the American National Academy for Inventors for the year 2024.
This is among the 100 best universities globally in patent registration at the US Patent Office (USPTO), with a total of 631 approved patents.

This achievement confirms the university’s commitment to enhance the culture of research and innovation, in line with the areas and goals of its institutional identity in food security and environmental sustainability.
This comes in line with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision in stimulating the knowledge economy, investing in minds and talents, and strengthening the innovation system as a basic engine for sustainable development.

The President of the University, Dr. Adel bin Muhammad Abu Zanada, praised the unlimited support from the wise leadership – may God protect it – for the education, research and innovation sector.

He pointed out that this national achievement enhances the university’s position as an incubator for creators and innovators, benefiting from its human and technical capabilities and its advanced research system.
