المملكة: Medina.. Guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program visit Quba Mosque


visited Quba Mosque in Medina, as part of a cultural program prepared by the Ministry for guests coming from 104 countries.
The guests performed prayers in the Quba Mosque, the first mosque founded on piety, and were briefed on its facilities and the expansions and developments it witnessed. They also learned about its great place in Islamic history.
After that, they visited a number of historical sites, including the site of the Battle of Uhud, the Uhud Martyrs’ Mosque, the Mount of Archers, and the Martyrs’ Cemetery. Uhud, and they listened to an explanation of the most prominent events related to these sites and their importance in the Prophet’s biography.

The Kingdom’s care for the Islamic heritage

The guests praised the efforts made by the wise leadership – may God support it – in caring for the historical mosques and Islamic sites, appreciating the development and rehabilitation work they witnessed, especially in the Quba Mosque, which reflects the Kingdom’s keenness to preserve the Islamic heritage and highlight its cultural status.
The guests expressed their They thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect them – for the attention, care and integrated services they found during the hosting programme.
They stressed that these visits contributed to enriching their knowledge of the history of Islam and its fragrant biography.
