Abdullah bin Zayed meets the French Armed Forces Minister in Paris
Paris, March 10 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today, His Excellency Sebastian Lecorno, the French Minister of Armed Forces, as part of his visit to His Highness to Paris.
An official reception ceremony took place for His Highness upon his arrival at the headquarters of the French Ministry of Armed Forces, where the national peace was played for both the UAE and the French Republic and a few of the honor guards lined up to His Highness.
After that, His Highness held a joint meeting with His Excellency Sebastian Lecorno, during which strategic relations between the two countries and joint cooperation in the defensive fields were discussed.
The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern and exchanged views on them.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Reem Bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation Affairs, His Excellency Noura bint Muhammad Al Kaabi, Minister of State, His Excellency Saeed Mubarak Al -Hajri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Commercial Affairs, His Excellency Fahd Saeed Al -Raqbani, the country’s ambassador to the Republic of France, and His Excellency Omar Saif Ghobash, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the non -resident state ambassador to the Vatican.
