The UAE approves the system of remote work from outside the country in the federal government

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, presided over a meeting of the Council of Ministers in the Palace of Al -Watan in Abu Dhabi, where His Highness affirmed that the Council of Ministers approved the system of remote work from outside the state in the federal government .. which aims to benefit from the global competencies and expertise present outside the state in the implementation of projects, studies or specialized tasks for the federal authorities.

His Highness said through the X platform: “Today I headed a meeting of the Council of Ministers in the Palace of Al -Watan in Abu Dhabi … We decided at the beginning of our national investment strategy during the next six years … The goal will be to raise the annual rate of foreign direct investment flow from 112 billion dirhams in 2023 … to 240 billion dirhams in 2031.”

His Highness added: “And raising the stock of foreign investment in the country from 800 billion dirhams to 2.2 trillion dirhams during the next six years, God willing.”

His Highness continued: “The strategy will focus on the sectors of industry, logistics services, financial services, renewable energy and information technology …”.
His Highness added: “The UAE continues to develop the economy … open markets … and attract investments … and create the best environment for business globally, God willing.”

His Highness said: «In government affairs, we have today adopted the system of remote work from outside the state in the federal government … which aims to benefit from the global competencies and experiences outside the state in implementing projects, studies or specialized tasks among the federal authorities.
