7 destinations leading the reservations of citizens during the “Al -Fitr” and “Al -Rabi” holidays

Officials of travel agencies said that the school vacation coincidence with the Eid Al -Fitr vacation has contributed to increasing the reservations of citizens to spend tourist holidays, pointing to seven destinations that top the list of reservations, namely: Japan, Britain, Switzerland, France, Thailand, Malta and Austria.

In detail, the CEO of “Al -Rayes Travel Company – Al -Rayes Group”, Mohamed Jassim Al -Rayes said: “There is a great demand from the citizens of the UAE to travel to foreign tourist destinations, in conjunction with the Al -Rabi’a and Al -Fitr school holidays during the current year,” noting that the two holidays coincided together encouraged a larger segment to reserve tourism holidays, specifically at the end of March and the beginning of next April, and added: European, such as Britain, Switzerland and France, along with Asian destinations such as Japan and Thailand, tops the list of the most sought -after stations by Emirati travelers based on reservations, and other countries such as Austria and Russia have witnessed an increase in the number of reservations compared to previous years.
He pointed out that early seizure has become one of the prominent trends in this season, as many travelers seek to secure their reservations in hotels and aviation, to avoid the last reservations in the peak period.
Al -Rayes continued: “The average period of residence during this vacation ranges between five and six days, as most travelers prefer to spend a short vacation, compared to the summer vacation that is usually longer.” He pointed out that the UAE citizens prefer to explore tourist destinations that combine comfort and adventure such as visiting historical monuments, exploring nature, and enjoying events.
Al -Rayes said: «The Emirati traveler is distinguished by his keenness to test new tourist destinations, and visit new tourist attractions within the destination he chooses, and it is preferable to stay in hotels and resorts that provide him with comfort and service levels, especially for families’ travel.

In turn, the Executive Director of “Dubai World Travel Company”, Badr Al -Ahly, said: “With the approaching spring vacation in 2025, which coincides with the Eid Al -Fitr holiday, citizens of the UAE are preparing to take travel experiences in various global destinations.”
He added, “The data indicates a noticeable increase in travel reservations during this period, as Emiratis prefer to spend their holidays with their families in destinations that combine the picturesque nature, historical monuments and entertainment.
Al -Ahly continued: “Britain, Japan, Switzerland, France, Thailand, Malta and Austria are the most sought -after list of Emirati travelers, and these destinations are distinguished by their cultural and natural diversity, which meets the tastes of different travelers.” He pointed out that Malta and Japan have witnessed a great turnout during the current year compared to previous years, and mentioned that Emirati tourists mentioned They always prefer to discover new stations and destinations, and they depend on the evaluation of citizens who have traveled before them mainly to choose their destinations, pointing out that the trend towards family travel is common in the next holiday.
He affirmed that travel agencies currently provide a large list of tourism programs and offers that meet the various requirements, stressing the importance of early planning, pre -booking of air flights and residence to avoid high prices, and denying available options.

In the same context, the general manager of “Balasa Tourism Company”, Naroz Sarkis, said that many Emirati families take advantage of the chance of the school and Eid al -Fitr school holidays to spend holidays abroad, expecting that the rate of citizens’ reservations will rise during the next few days.
He added, “Airlines ticket prices at the same time witness a significant increase during the peak week at the end of March and the beginning of next April, which may push some to postpone travel, given the high cost, especially for the travel of family groups.” He pointed out that some may resort to traveling to dates far from this peak period.
He pointed out that the traditional destinations in Europe such as Britain, France, and Spain are witnessing demand, as well as stations in eastern Europe, and others in Asia such as Thailand and Malaysia, noting that travel agencies deal with this high demand, by providing integrated travel packages, including flight tickets, residence in luxury hotels, and tourist tours along with transportation.
