14 citizens join the legal profession in Abu Dhabi

The Lawyers’ Affairs Committee of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department approved supplying the legal sector in the emirate with 14 new national lawyers, whose registration in the register of practicing lawyers was approved after they completed the specialized training requirements at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Academy, in a way that supports the empowerment of national cadres and raises their professional readiness to contribute effectively in establishing the foundations of justice.
In the same organizational context, the committee, which was held under the chairmanship of Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, approved requests to renew the registration of 10 lawyers whose registration expiration date was two months past, after ensuring that they met the legal standards necessary to continue practicing the profession. The committee also approved requests to transfer two lawyers to the non-practicing list, in response to their functional and professional changes.
At the level of the supervisory role and ensuring the quality of legal services, the committee considered, during its regular meeting, 4 complaints submitted against lawyers, carefully studied their merits and took legal decisions regarding them that ensure the preservation of the profession’s code of ethics and the protection of the rights of litigants.
