المملكة: The Kingdom and Ukraine are the duration of relations … and welcoming the re -establishment of the Business Council

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Ukraine praised the durability of economic ties and the importance of joint work to develop the volume of trade exchange, and welcomed the re -establishment of the Saudi -Ukrainian Business Council during the current year 2025 AD.
The two sides affirmed their intention to strengthen investment relations by creating promising investment and economic partnerships in the priority sectors of the two countries.
This came in a joint statement at the conclusion of the official visit made by Ukraine President Mr. Foludmimer Zellinski to the Kingdom, the following is his text:
Within the framework of distinguished relations and close cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Ukraine, Ukraine President Voludimir Zellinski made an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 10 Ramadan 1446 AH corresponding to March 10, 2025AD.
His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, President of Ukraine, received Mr. Folodimir Zellinski at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah, and held an official talks session, during which they reviewed the distinctive relations between the two friendly countries, and expressed their desire to strengthen them in all fields.
His Excellency the President of Ukraine, Mr. Folodimir Zellinski, congratulated His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of Riyadh’s victory in hosting the International Expo 2030, and the Kingdom’s victory in hosting the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
The two sides praised the durability of the economic ties between the two friendly countries, and noted the importance of joint work to develop the volume of trade exchange, which reached a growth rate (9%) in the year 2024 AD, and they agreed on the need to overcome the challenges facing the development of commercial relations, the importance of intensifying official visits, visits of commercial and mutual business delegations, encouraging the establishment of joint projects, and discussing the opportunities available in the two countries, including projects of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, Ukraine reconstruction programs. The two sides welcomed the re -creation of the (Saudi -Ukrainian Business Council) during the current year 2025 AD.
The two sides affirmed their intention to strengthen investment relations through the establishment of promising investment and economic partnerships in the priority sectors of the two countries, including the energy sector, food industries, infrastructure, and welcomed the continuous communication of the government and private sectors in the two countries through workshops, exchange of visits, contracting forums and joint investment events, empowering the private sector, preparing the appropriate environment for investment, addressing any challenges Facing investors.
The two sides expressed their aspiration to discuss joint cooperation opportunities in the fields of oil, gas, their derivatives, and petrochemicals.
The two sides welcomed the expansion of the entry of the private sector in the two countries with investment partnerships in the agricultural fields and food industries, and agreed on the importance of enhancing cooperation between them in the fields of agriculture and food security.
The two sides discussed the latest developments and developments of common concern, and exchanged views on issues of concern to the two countries on the regional and international arenas, and confirmed their intention to enhance cooperation and joint coordination towards it.
The two sides reviewed the efforts made to achieve permanent, fair and comprehensive peace in Ukraine. The Saudi side expressed its hope that these efforts will be crowned with success in ending this crisis in line with international law and the United Nations Charter, including respecting the principles of internationally recognized sovereignty and borders, and in a way that leads to ending its negative repercussions on international security and stability, stopping the human suffering suffered by civilians, achieving nuclear and food security, environmental protection, and removing mine from land. The Ukrainian side expressed its appreciation for the efforts made by the Kingdom in this regard, as well as his thanks and gratitude for the humanitarian and development aid provided by the Kingdom to Ukraine.
At the end of the visit, His Excellency the President of Ukraine, Voludeimir Zellinski, thanked and appreciated His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the good reception and generous delegation, and for his best wishes for the friendly Saudi people more progress and prosperity. His Highness also expressed his best wishes for the health and wellness of His Excellency the President of Ukraine, and more progress and advancement for the friendly Ukrainian people.
