Al -Jouf Agricultural Development Company has signed a company agreement with the Korean company Global Green, to create a partnership in the production of high -quality potato seeds using the latest advanced technology around the world.
On January 23, 2024, the company announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Korean Gloal Green Green Global Company to transfer the technology of producing potato seeds and producing them locally in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while it announced on July 21, the extension of the memo, while on January 21, 2025, the memorandum would be extended for an additional 60 days.
The company said that the agreement includes the following:
Establishing a laboratory specialized in high technical specifications at the headquarters of Al -Jouf Agricultural Development Company in the Al -Bitta area in the Al -Jouf area to produce potato seeds.
Investing in the Korean EGG company through convertible bonds to royal rights, for (15,000,000) riyals.
– It is expected that production will start locally during the second quarter of 2026 AD, God willing, and the financial impact will be announced later.
