The Russian army reported great gains on the ground in the border area of ​​Kursk, which Ukraine had taken control earlier.
The Ministry of Defense in Moscow announced through the Telegram application on Tuesday that the Ukrainian forces were defeated and removed from dozens of villages and more than 100 square kilometers of land.
The photos showed Russian soldiers on the eastern outskirts of the city of Soda, a small town that was the center of the region that Ukraine seized inside Corsak.
