UNICEF warns of a humanitarian catastrophe due to the exacerbation of the suffering of the Rohingya children

UNICEF has warned that malnutrition among the Rohingya children in the refugee camps in Bangladesh in Cox Bazaar has risen sharply, and that reducing aid financing threatens a humanitarian catastrophe.
UNICEF actress in Bangladesh Rana Flapers confirmed that children in the largest refugee camp in the world suffer from the worst levels of malnutrition since mass exodus of hundreds of thousands of Rohingya from military attacks in Myanmar in 2017.
She added: Malnutritions increased by 27% during the past month, with more than 38 children under the age of five entered emergency care every day.
UNICEF called for providing additional resources to avoid the deaths of the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, and the need to sustain humanitarian support in order to provide treatment and nutrition, noting that financing these services will be implemented next June.
