Minister of Investment: The UAE is an attractive global center for investments

Abu Dhabi, March 12/ WAM/ His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al -Suwaidi, Minister of Investment, confirmed that the National Investment Strategy 2031, which was approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, constitutes a major station in the march of strengthening the UAE’s position as a global center attractive to investments.
His Excellency said in a statement to Emirates News Agency “WAM”, that the national investment strategy extending for the next six years sets a clear and ambitious road map to attract more foreign direct investments, advance economic diversity, and ensure a long -term sustainable growth.
He added that by targeting the raising of the annual foreign investment flows from 112 billion dirhams to 240 billion dirhams by 2031, and increasing the total foreign direct investment balance to 2.2 trillion dirhams .. We confirm the UAE’s commitment to consolidating a competitive investment environment that encourages innovation and enhances global partnerships.
He pointed out that the vital sectors such as industry, financial services, logistical services, renewable energy and information technology will be at the heart of this transformation, which ensures continuing to explore promising economic opportunities.
He said that the UAE has always been a pioneer in the formulation of forward -looking policies that enhance economic investment and prosperity, and through the launch of 12 strategic programs and 30 targeted initiatives that will enhance the national investment strategy 2031 the role of the UAE as a bridge that links global markets, enhances investor confidence and pushes towards a more dynamic, flexible and open economy.
His Excellency expressed the aspirations of the Ministry of Investment to continue working closely with partners in the public and private sectors, deepening global partnerships to achieve this strategy, and pushing the UAE towards more economic success.
