Al Ain, March 12/ WAM/ His Excellency Counselor Ahmed Salem Sodin, Chairman of the Emirates Association for the Care of Parents, affirmed the association’s keenness to continue to work to achieve more achievements and progress in the field of community service and enhance the quality of life for senior citizens by providing an honorable human civilized model in appreciation and respect for the elderly and enhancing moral values ​​to reflect the forms of solidarity and love in families and society so that the UAE is always a sustainable capital of humanitarian work.

This came during the regular annual general assembly meeting of 2025, in the presence of members of the Board of Directors, members of the General Assembly and Muhammad Al -Muhairi from the Ministry of Community Empowerment and Dr. Jamil Al -Hamlawi from the Department of Community Development.

Ahmed Salem Soudin, members of the Board of Directors and members of the General Assembly praised the effective role of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the honorary president of the Emirates Association for the Care of Parents in the Service of the Elderly and the Equalization of the Concept of Caring for the Righteousness of Parents among Children and grandchildren, in line with the association’s message and emphasizing interest in the care of the parents, and the approach of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan will be called “ Equightened to do good and extend its effect on society.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors reviewed the achievements of the association during the 8 years of its establishment through a video clip, and the minutes of the previous general assembly meeting and the administrative and financial report were approved and approved, and the estimated budget project for 2025 – discussing the operational plan of the association for the year 2025, and the election of the Board of Directors for the third session
Chaired by His Excellency Counselor Ahmed Salem Soudin, Sahil Salem Al Saadi, Vice -Chairman of the Board of Directors, and the membership of Sheikh Khaled Al Mualla, Ahmed Murad Al Balushi, Rashid Ali Al Shamsi, Khamis Muhammad Khamis, Muhammad Saleh Al Hammadi, Nisreen Ali Darwish, Nadia Muhammad Saleh Al Nuaimi.

The attendees submitted several interventions on the development proposals and their voluntary contributions to serve the association during the coming period, in addition to a review of the memoranda of understanding that were signed with several parties with the aim of cooperating and exchanging experiences.
