“International Criminal” announces that former Philippine President Duterte

The International Criminal Court said today, Wednesday, that it received former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, to counter allegations of crimes against humanity during a bloody suppression campaign against drug traffickers during his time in office.
The court said in a statement that it had provided “as a preventive measure, medical assistance” at the airport to Teriti, in line with the usual procedures followed upon the arrival of any suspect.
Human rights groups and the families of the victims praised the arrest of Duterte on Tuesday in Manila under an arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court, which was announced by the current Philippine President Ferdinand Marcus.
