المملكة: The end of the controversy .. “Education” officially reveals the date of Eid Al -Fitr holiday for students

The Ministry of Education confirmed that the Eid Al -Fitr holiday for students will start on Thursday, 20 Ramadan 1446 AH, and that Wednesday 19 Ramadan is the last actual school day, according to the pre -approved academic calendar.
This denied speculation that spread on social media platforms about the possibility of extending school hours until Thursday.

She added that the academic plan is going according to what is planned, and that the dates of leave are predetermined in the academic evaluation, and there is no change in it, noting the need to adhere to the declared academic evaluation, and not to be drawn behind the rumors.
This confirmation comes to end the state of the controversy that prevailed between parents and students, who circulated questions about the deadline for the start of the leave, especially with the approaching end of the holy month of Ramadan.
By referring to the academic calendar for the current year, it becomes clear that the Eid Al -Fitr holiday begins on Thursday 20 Ramadan 1446 AH, and the study will be resumed after the leave on Sunday 8 Shawwal 1446 AH.

The evaluation also includes a lengthy weekend on Sunday and Monday 6 and 7 Dhu al -Qi’dah 1446 AH, and the holiday of Eid al -Adha, which begins on Friday 3 Dhu al -Hijjah 1446 AH.
It continues until Sunday 19 Dhu al -Hijjah 1446 AH, in addition to the end of the academic year that begins on Thursday 1 Muharram 1447 AH.
With regard to the new academic year 1447 AH, the Ministry of Education revealed that the beginning will be on Sunday 1 Rabi al -Awwal 1447 AH, explaining that it is possible that some updates will occur on the details of the study plan and curricula.
