And the decree of the Federal Law No. 34 of 2022 regarding the organization of the legal professions and legal consultations, is placed 10 conditions for the registration in the schedule of the lawyers working, namely: that it is a citizen of the state, that the age of 21 years of AD is not less than the AD, that the entire eligibility Mahmoud al -Sirah is a good reputation that is not judged by a penal He replied to him, to have a bachelor’s degree in law, law, law, or what is returned from one of the universities or colleges recognized in the state, and that he successfully passes the training period determined and organized by the executive regulations for this decree by law, and that he passes the editorial exams and personal interview before a committee issued by a decision by the minister, and that he passes the medical examination to ensure its validity to practice the profession according to what is It is determined by the executive regulations, and to complete the necessary procedures and approvals for registration within a period not exceeding three months from the date of notifying him of his registration, otherwise his request is canceled, submitting a valid insurance policy against responsibility for professional errors issued by one of the insurance companies licensed to work in the state, unless the lawyer’s responsibility is covered by the document of the law office that works through it, according to the controls determined by the minister, and finally Pay the prescribed fees.

The decree excluded four categories of the training period, the editorial exams and the personal interview, as it was permissible for them to be registered in the schedule of lawyers working before the courts of first instance and appellate and the Federal Supreme Court, and they are the ones who previously worked on the judiciary or the public prosecutor or legal work in legal departments in ministries or government agencies, or one of the actions of the profession for a period of no less than three years.

The duration of the registration in the schedule of working lawyers has set three years, renewable for a period or similar periods at the request of the stakeholder, and the registration is in the schedule of lawyers who are not working for a period of five years.

Combining “law” and other actions

Article 21 stipulates that it is not permissible to combine the registration in the schedule of working lawyers and between the practice of some works, including the public job, and the committee may be determined by the executive regulations of this decree in the law of the exception of members of the teaching staff of the law or Sharia and the law in one of the universities or colleges of the state citizens of the PhD degree, and the lawyer is prohibited to work in trade, while he may own financial and real estate assets and investment in it.
