A beggar collects 367 dirhams in an hour .. A social experience from the Sharjah Police reveals the methods of exploiting passion in Ramadan

As part of its efforts to combat the phenomenon of illegal begging, Sharjah Police published an awareness video on its official platforms, revealing the danger of this practice.
The video, which documented an exciting social experience, showed a person pretending to be begging for only one hour, and during this short time he managed to collect 367 dirhams, in a scene that reflects the size of the emotional exploitation practiced by some beggars, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

Begging .. It is the need for “fraud” the most prominent video how begging has turned from a phenomenon related to the need for a “profession” that generates huge profits for some, taking advantage of people’s generosity without any real need, as these practices not only affect society, but rather hinder the efforts of charities that seek to help the real needy.
How to help in a correct way? Sharjah Police called on the public to donate through official channels and approved charities, instead of providing money to beggars who may be part of organized networks.
