"Emirates Bicycles" Hero of the Tirino Adriatiko race
Roma, March 17/ WAM/ Juan Ayuo, the Emirates XRG team, won one of his biggest wins, where yesterday won the Tereno-Adriatigo race in Italy.
The 22-year-old Spaniard Ausu showed great talent for stability since the start of the race, as he finished second behind Philipo Ghana “Inos-Grenaders” in the opening time, which paved the way for his great achievement later.
Philipo Ghana provided fierce resistance throughout the week in his endeavor to keep the shirt, but in the sixth stage, the UAE-XRG star directed a decisive attack, to extract a unilateral victory over the rise of Frontianiano.
This victory came in the main stage to confirm Ayu’s superiority and decide the title in his favor and for his team before the last day, while in the closing stage yesterday, which spanned 147 km from Porto Puttza Bachina to Saint Pinidito del Tursto, Jonathan Milan “Lidel-Trik” crowned a rapid start towards the finish line.
The Emirates -XRG team also crowned its efforts throughout the week by ascending to the coronation platform as the best team in the race, reinforcing its eighteen victory this season.
Ayu said that this is his largest victories alongside the title La Etzulia, but what distinguishes him here is his victory in one of the stages as well, pointing out that the last stage was difficult because of the wind, but he felt full protection thanks to his team, who was keen to secure his position and keep him away from any risks throughout the day.
He added that this victory will be affected by confidence before participating in the Jiro da Italy’s race, which extends for three weeks, and is completely different in its nature and challenges.
