The University of Applied Sciences continues to distinguish it globally and achieve qualitative leaps in the QS categories of the cognitive field

In the continuation of the series of its global achievements, the University of Applied Sciences has made a qualitative leap in the global QS categories according to the 2025 cognitive field, which reflects its continuous academic development and its distinction in multiple fields.

The university continued to be distinguished by its appearance in five educational fields that included the fields of design and arts, business and management studies, financial sciences and accounting, computer science and information systems, and social and administrative sciences.

The university maintained its distinguished location in the field of design and arts by appearing in the center (151-200) globally for the second year in a row, confirming its continuous distinction in this field, which reflects its enjoyment of a creative academic environment that supports innovation. In this field, the university presents two Bachelor’s program in interior design and graphic design, thus the only university in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which is classified internationally in this specialization.

The university also achieved a qualitative leap in the field of business and management studies, as it advanced from the center (401-450) in 2024 to the center (301-350) in 2025. The university in this field offers a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, the Dual Business Administration Program with the University of London South Bank, and a master’s in business management, which reflects the continuous growth in the academic university reputation and its impact on the labor market.

The university appeared for the first time in the field of financial science and accounting studies, to occupy the center (251-300) globally, with the presentation of Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting, Bachelor of Accounting and Finance, and Master of Accounting and Finance, in emphasizing its continuous efforts in developing academic curricula and scientific research.

As for the field of computer science and information systems, the university recorded its first appearance in the center (601-650) globally, with the introduction of Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in computer science, and the bachelor’s program in administrative information systems, which reflects the growth of its impact in the technology sector and its presentation to distinguished academic programs in computer science and administrative information systems.

Finally in the field of social and administrative sciences, the university succeeded in winning the center (344) globally, with the presentation of Bachelor’s degrees in Law, Political Science, Master programs in law, commercial law, human resources management, and political science. These results reflect the distinguished academic reputation of the university, and its distinction in scientific research, and as the highest -class university in the Kingdom of Bahrain within this specialization, it confirms its position as a leading educational institution that graduates competencies that are able to compete in the labor market.

In this context, Professor Wahib Al -Khaja, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Applied Sciences, stressed that these achievements reflect the relevant efforts made by the university to enhance its position on the global scene, stressing that the university will continue to develop scientific research, investing in academic cadres, and expanding its international partnerships, to achieve more achievements that contribute to supporting higher education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in line with the ambitious plans of the Ministry of Education and the Council Higher education in promoting Bahrain as an educational tourism destination and attracting internationals from all over the world.

For his part, Professor Hatem Al -Masry, President of the University, stressed the university’s commitment to providing high -quality education that contributes to preparing qualified generations capable of facing the challenges of the future, and keeping pace with scientific and technological developments in various fields, indicating that these achievements are not just numbers in classifications, but rather a living testimony to the university’s commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience for its students, and enhancing its role as a competitive educational institution at the global level.
