المملكة: With the approaching Eid Al -Fitr .. Details of the holiday dates in the various sectors

With the approaching Eid Al -Fitr for the year 1446 AH, several sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia revealed the dates of Eid holidays, as Al -Youm newspaper monitored the most prominent of these details that concern citizens and residents alike.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced the details of the Eid Al -Fitr holiday for the private and non -profit sectors, as it will be a minimum period of four days, starting with the end of the hours of Saturday, 29 Ramadan, corresponding to March 29, 2025, and extends until the return of work.
The Ministry stated that the government agencies subject to the executive regulations of human resources in the civil service will follow Article (127) paragraph (c), which determines the start of the leave from the 25th day of Ramadan and ends at the end of the fifth day of Shawwal, provided that the return to work will be on 6 Shawwal.

Leave financial institutions

While the Saudi Central Bank has set the dates of Eid Al -Fitr holiday for the financial institutions subject to its supervision, starting from Sunday 30 March 2025 and continues until Wednesday, April 2, 2025, to allow workers in this sector the opportunity to celebrate the holiday with their families.
In the education sector, the Ministry of Education confirmed that the Eid Al -Fitr holiday for students will start on Thursday 20 Ramadan 1446 AH, corresponding to the last actual school day on Wednesday 19 Ramadan, according to the pre -approved academic calendar, giving students and teachers a period of rest that families prepare to receive the Eid.
