"International charitable works" It launches a project to build an integrated city in Mauritania

Ajman, March 19/ WAM/ The International Charitable Business Authority, laid the foundation stone for building an integrated residential city in Mauritania, to celebrate the day of Zayed for humanitarian work.

The project aims to provide housing and basic services for the needy families of the poor and orphans, at a total cost of 8 million dirhams, as the city consists of 100 homes fully equipped to meet the needs of beneficiary families, in addition to a mosque that can accommodate 100 worshipers, a school provides an integrated educational environment for students, a health center equipped with the latest necessary medical equipment, and an Artouzi well to ensure the provision of clean water And sustainable, along with a charitable endowment shop and a modern water network to ensure the distribution of water efficiently.

His Excellency Dr. Khaled Al -Khaja, Secretary -General of the International Charitable Business Authority, stressed that these initiatives reflect the commitment of the authority to enhance sustainable development and improve the quality of life in the targeted societies, indicating that the choice of Mauritania came based on accurate field studies for a number of regions that showed the urgent need for such development projects.

He added that this project comes within the framework of the commission’s vision and its humanitarian message, and an embodiment of the values ​​of giving and solidarity established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “May God rest his soul”, which our wise leadership in the UAE is going on his approach to supporting humanitarian and charitable work at the global level.

His Excellency stated that the commission celebrated this day through the implementation of a group of charitable projects within the country as well, including dedicating the charity of wells and watering water for patients in a number of hospitals within the state, and distributing food parcels and breakfast meals to families of orphans and needy families, heading in the highest expressions of thanks to the owners of white hands who put their confidence in the International Charitable Business Authority, so their giving was a bridge to help the needy around the world.
