Head of Cyber Security: UAE and the United States launch a new era of strategic partnership
Washington, March 19/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al -Kuwaiti, President of the Cyber Security Council, confirmed to the UAE government that the UAE -American relations are witnessing the launch of a new era of active strategic partnership in various fields and sectors, especially artificial intelligence, advanced technology and cybersecurity.
The President of the Cyber Security Council said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” that the visit of His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the National Security Adviser to the United States of America represents a new strong batch of strategic relations between the two friendly countries and opens more opportunities for sustainable growth, progress and joint prosperity and benefit from the rapid global developments led by advanced technology and artificial intelligence that represent basic pillars It contributes to reshaping the future of the world.
His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al -Kuwaiti pointed to the Emirati -American cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, praising the efforts of the American administration in sponsoring the global initiative to combat the threats of cyber ransom 2022 “CRI”, which is held under the sponsorship of the White House, where the UAE presides over the data participation committee and the crystal Ball platform with the participation of more than 68 countries.
His Excellency stressed the continuation of joint cooperation between the UAE with the United States to provide a safe environment and confront the growing and expected cyber risks and work to raise the efficiency of protection and monitoring systems in a way that contributes to facing cyber challenges and violations, in light of the high frequency of using cloud services and digital transformation.
