المملكة: Scouts support Hajj security in organizing a visit to Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa in Medina

Contact Scouting cadresof boys, young men, male and female leaders participating in the public service camp for the Ramadan season 1447 AH in Medina, carrying out their field tasks to enhance the efforts of the Hajj and Umrah Securityin organizing the visit to the Noble Rawdah in the Prophet’s Mosque, as these teams work under the supervision of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association within an integrated system aimed at facilitating the movement of visitors and enabling them to perform their worship with ease and reassurance.
The current roles are focused on supporting coordination within the squares and corridors leading to the Noble Rawdah by directing paths and controlling the flows of human crowds, which contributes directly to reducing overcrowding and achieving high flow in the area. Movement, especially with the large number of pilgrims and visitors witnessed by the Prophet’s Mosque during the holy month.
Integration of organizational roles
The humanitarian tasks of the participants in the camp are distributed among vital points, including the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque, the surrounding health centers, and the Quba and Miqat mosques, where the scout units provide a package of specific services, including pushing wheelchairs for the elderly, managing crowds, and organizing visitors in medical facilities.
The scouts also supervise the Entry and exit gates and escalators to ensure the safety of flows, in addition to activating their roles in guiding the lost, taking care of lost children, and helping pilgrims reach their destinations within the central region, which embodies a bright, civilized image for the people of the country in the fields of volunteer and humanitarian service.
Promoting volunteer work
This field participation represents an extension of the fundamental role played by the Saudi Scouts in consolidating the culture of volunteer work and instilling the values of national belonging among them. Young people, as the camp provides a practical platform to enable young people to participate effectively in serving the guests of God through qualified and trained cadres working in a team spirit.
In essence, the camp aims to support the relevant government agencies in providing the finest services to visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque, and to stimulate youth energies towards continuous giving, in line with the Kingdom’s great efforts in caring for the Two Holy Mosques, developing the visitor’s spiritual experience, and providing a safe and reassuring atmosphere for all.
Tadhafar Sector Efforts
The Ramadan Camp in Medina witnesses a unique model of integration of efforts between the various educational, training, and youth sectors in the Kingdom, as several government agencies participate in implementing the tasks, including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Sports, Taibah University, and the Islamic University of Medina, in addition to the General Corporation for Technical and Vocational Training.
This institutional cooperation reflects the extent of high coordination to provide the best humanitarian and organizational services to pilgrims, which contributes to highlighting the bright image of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in serving mosque attendees.
