Expo Sharjah" He reviews his future plans and activities for 2025

Sharjah, March 19 / WAM / The Expo Sharjah Center affirmed its keenness to continue its efforts to enhance the exhibition industry in the country in general and Sharjah in particular, and to upgrade this industry in a way that serves the growth of all economic, social, cultural, educational and other sectors and helps it to expand its contributions to strengthening the process of sustainable development.

He pointed out that the year 2025 includes an agenda full of innovative and quality exhibitions and exhibitions organized by the center and includes activities that are held for the first time and cover various major sectors, including industry, smart transport, trade, health, perfumes, gold and jewelry.

This came during the meeting held by the center’s board of directors headed by His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Expo Center Sharjah yesterday evening, in the presence of Sheikh Majid bin Faisal Al Qasimi, First Vice President of the Chamber, and His Excellency Saif Mohamed Al -Midfa, CEO of the Expo Center, Sharjah Center, members of the center’s board of directors, heads of departments and directors of departments at the center.

The meeting reviewed the achievements made by Expo Sharjah and its centers in Khorfakkan and Al Dhaid last year, where he succeeded in organizing and hosting 80 main exhibitions, an increase of about 60% compared to 2023, and these activities recorded wide international and regional participation from major companies and brands, and they also succeeded in attracting about 3 million visitors from inside and outside the country.

The meeting dealt with the results of the events and exhibitions organized by the Expo Sharjah Center since the beginning of 2025, the most prominent of which is the Steel Fab exhibition, Sharjah Real Estate Exhibition “Iker” and the Emirates Jewels Exhibition

His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al -Owais stressed that strengthening the exhibition and conference industry is part of the forward -looking vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and the development approach of the government of Sharjah’s government based on the importance of this industry as one of the most attractive and supportive sectors of industrial, commercial and stimulating investments for the tourism and travel sector.

For his part, His Excellency Saif Mohamed Al -Midfa said that Expo Sharjah continues to enhance its position as a pioneering regional and international center for exhibitions and conferences and works in his annual plans to direct his strategy in line with the goals of national economic diversification and strengthen strategic partnerships and successful international participation to attract more international exhibitors, while also benefiting from the center’s membership in many regional and international bodies and organizations concerned with affairs Exhibitions and conferences.

The meeting discussed the preliminary results of the visits and sales of the Ramadan Nights exhibition, in addition to reviewing the center’s agenda for the coming period and the ongoing preparations for organizing its annual exhibitions, most notably the Middle East Watch and Jewelry Exhibition, the Emirates Fair for Perfumes and Oud and the Gulf Plateau, along with exhibitions that are organized for the first time in the Emirate of Sharjah, including the “Future Transport Exhibition” and the International Exhibition “Derry Tech Al -Sharq Middle East” for industry technologies Dairy and milk.
