From the UAE League.. Mimi and Bayesh join the Iraqi national team in the World Cup playoff

Players Muhannad Ali (Mimi) and Ibrahim Bayesh, who are participating with Dibba and Al Dhafra clubs respectively in the UAE Professional Football League, joined the Iraqi national team’s delegation in preparation for facing the winner of the match between Bolivia and Suriname in the global qualifier for the 2026 World Cup in Mexico.

An official source close to the Iraqi Football Association told Emarat Al-Youm that the two players began daily training in the Mexican city of Monterrey, in preparation for the decisive confrontation to reach the World Cup.

Muhannad Ali scored 6 goals and made two assists with the Dibba team, and recently returned after recovering from the injury he sustained during the match against the Kalba team.

For his part, Ibrahim Bayesh joined the ranks of Al Dhafra during the last winter transfer period from the Saudi team Riyadh. He has not scored any goals yet, but he played an important role in creating and building attacks, confirming his effectiveness on the field.
