Ajman University gets accreditation from " Australian Dental Council"
Ajman, March 20/ WAM/ The Faculty of Dentistry at Ajman University obtained the prestigious accreditation from the Australian International Dental Council “ADCI” for a period of seven years, starting from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2031.
Accreditation includes a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery, master’s programs in the treatment of dental roots and children’s dentistry.
Thus, Ajman University becomes the first educational institution in the UAE, which gets this distinguished accreditation for graduate studies programs in dentistry.
The College of Dentistry has graduated more than 4000 dentists, who left an impact in their field of work at the local and international levels, and embraces the largest dental hospital in the country, where the pillars of academic education, clinical training and medical care are integrated with international standards, which enhances its role as a pioneering center in preparing generations of qualified competencies to serve the community and upgrade the health sector.
The Australian International Dental Council is one of the most prominent international bodies concerned with assessing the quality of medical education, and reflects the obtaining of the University of Ajman on this accreditation its firm commitment to academic excellence, and its keenness to keep pace with the highest international standards, in confirmation of its role in building a generation of scientifically and professionally qualified doctors, who are able to contribute effectively to developing health care.
Dr. Karim Al -Sagheer, Director of Ajman University, thanked and grateful to everyone who contributed to achieving this achievement, supporting the university’s efforts towards excellence and innovation, and congratulated the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Salem Abu Fanas, and all members of the college, from the members of the teaching and administrative bodies, students and graduates, and Ajman University partners on this distinguished achievement.
