The runner -up group contributes two million dirhams in support of a campaign "Stop"
Dubai, March 21/ WAM/ The Al -Wasif Group joined the list of shareholders in the “Stopping Father” campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai “may God bless him”, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, with the aim of honoring parents in the UAE through the establishment of a sustainable endowment fund, which is devoted to providing treatment and health care for the poor and the needy and unable.
The group announced that it would provide two million dirhams in support of the campaign, which falls under the umbrella of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” Foundation, and aims to honor parents by providing an opportunity for every person to donate the name of his father in the campaign, and consolidate the values of parents, affection, compassion and solidarity between members of society, and enhance the Emirates position in the field of charitable and humanitarian work, and consolidate the noble values in the UAE society. Giving, deep human solidarity with all the peoples of the world, and developing the concept of charitable endowment.
Obaid Mimani, Vice Chairman of the Al -Wasif Group, stressed that the “Stopping Father” campaign expresses an authentic Emirati identity entitled by giving, giving and the noble human sense of the suffering of others, and providing every possible effort to improve the lives of the less fortunate societies for the better, especially in the field of enabling its members to obtain sustainable health care.
He said that the summer group’s contribution to this generous campaign reflects the group’s commitment to its societal responsibility, and its desire to join this wide charitable movement in the UAE society, to achieve the campaign’s targets in providing treatment and medicine for poor, needy and unable patients, especially as it is related to the name of the father and it is good for our fathers in the holy month of Ramadan.
The “Stopping Father” campaign continues to receive contributions to the endowment fund from institutions and individuals through 6 main channels, which are the website designated for the campaign “FTHERSFUND.AE”, and the campaign’s communication center on the free number 8004999, and it can also be contributed through the bank transfer of the campaign UAE dirham.
The “Stopping Father” campaign allows the ability to contribute by SMS text messages by sending the word “Father” or “Father” via the “du” and “End Emirates” networks in the Emirates on the numbers: 1034 to donate 10 dirhams, 1035 to donate 50 dirhams, 1036 to donate 100 dirhams, and 1038 to donate 500 dirhams.
It is also possible to contribute to the campaign through the “Dubainow” application under the category of “donations”, or by creating a special portfolio for institutions or individuals on the Dubai Community Contributions platform “Jood.ae”.
