European Union imports declined during 2024

Brussels on March 21/ WAM/ The value of energy products in the European Union amounted to approximately 385.9 billion euros, with a total of 720.4 million tons during the year 2024.

The European Bureau of Statistics “Eurostat” said that the largest partners in the imports of the European Union of petroleum oils during 2024 are the United States by (16.1%), Norway (13.5%) and Kazakhstan (11.5%).

He explained that nearly half of the imported liquefied natural gas (45.3%) came from the United States ahead of Russia (17.5%) and Algeria (10.7%) .. While a large share of natural gas in its invasive state of Norway (45.6%) followed by Algeria with 19.3%, ahead of Russia by 16.6%.
