Community Development Department launches a program "Capacity building 3" To license social care professionals
Abu Dhabi, March 21 / WAM / The Community Development Department – Abu Dhabi launched the “Capacity Building 3” program, a comprehensive academic program that aims to enhance the competencies of social welfare professionals in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The program targets about 130 professionals who did not meet the conditions for the educational qualification required to obtain a license to practice the profession in the emirate.
The program aims to develop professional skills and enhance their competencies to meet the licensing requirements approved by the department in order to ensure the provision of high quality social services that contribute to improving the lives of community members and enhancing their well -being.
Mubarak Al -Amiri, Executive Director of the Licensing and Social Supervision Sector in the department, stressed that the license of professionals ensures the provision of services based on high -level professional and moral standards based on efficiency and quality.
He said that the program is in line with the department’s vision to enhance the quality of the life of all members of society and provide a sustainable environment in support of a decent life.
He pointed to the department’s keenness to encourage social welfare professionals to develop their skills and raise their efficiency, which contributes to improving the quality of the services provided and achieving their continuity according to the highest professional performance standards.
He stressed that the process of licensing professionals contributes to protecting society from improper practices and enhances commitment to moral practices.
The department pointed out the importance of fulfilling the criteria of professional competence necessary to obtain licenses to practice the social care profession to ensure the provision of distinguished services that meet the needs of beneficiaries and enhance sustainable social development in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
It is noteworthy that the number of professionals who passed the “Capacity Building” program in the first and second versions reached 153 professionals in various social welfare specialties, such as a non -clinical psychologist, a social worker and a guide (family counseling and marriage).
