The first Arab Emirates in the World Happiness Report 2025

The UAE ranked first in the Arab world and 21 globally in the World Happiness Report for the current year 2025, which included 147 countries and witnessed most Scandinavian countries to arrange.

Finland ranked first in the world, followed by Denmark, Iceland, Sweden and the Netherlands, while the United States ranked 24th.

Kuwait ranked 30th in the world, the second in the Arab world, then Saudi Arabia 32 in the world and the third in the Arab world, Oman in the 52nd place globally and the fourth in the Arab world, Bahrain 59 globally, the fifth in the Arab world and Libya 79 globally, the sixth in the Arab world, then Algeria 84 globally, the seventh Arab, Iraq 101 globally, the eighth in the Arab world, the Palestinian territories 108 globally and the ninth in the Arab world.

This year’s report includes 147 countries, which have been classified according to several factors, among them the gross domestic product of the individual, the expected health life, in addition to the opinions of the population of states.

The World Happiness Report was launched for the first time in 2012, which is an annual survey conducted by the United Nations Sustainable Development Network.
