The spokesman explained: “We confirm that the Hathru airport is open and regained its full movement today (Saturday).
A fire in a sub -power station that led to the power outage from Heathrow Airport most of Friday, and the closure of the busiest airport in Europe for about 18 hours, causing flights on a large scale and problems in re -directing flights, as well as cutting the means by about 200,000 passengers.
The fire began before midnight on Thursday at a sub -station, about 3.2 km from the airport, and the firefighters took about seven hours to control it.

The authorities said that they did not find any evidence that the fire was intentional, and the London Fire Department said that its achievement would focus on the electricity distribution equipment at the sub -station.
The fire resulted in the power of electricity from Heathrow Airport and thousands of homes in the area and affected at least 1350 flights to and from the airport, according to the “Flight Radar 24” service to track flights.

It is expected that the impact will continue for several days, as passengers are trying to reschedule their flights and airlines are working to reorganize their aircraft and crews.
After restoring the electricity, a British Airways plane landed before sunset on Friday after Heathro airport raised the closure order. Other flights, including a short trip from Manchester in northwestern England.
