Ahead of the third round of talks.. America imposes new sanctions on Iran
The United States imposed new sanctions targeting Iran, in continuation of the campaign "Maximum pressures" On the eve of a new round of talks between the two sides in Geneva.

The latest sanctions imposed by the US Treasury Department target more than 30 individuals, entities and ships that facilitate "Illicit Iranian oil sales" And weapons production.
Sanctions on Iran
The Treasury Department said it was targeting ships operating "Within the Iranian shadow fleet, which transports Iranian oil and its products to foreign markets" To hit the authorities’ sources of income.
Treasury Secretary Scott Besent stated in a statement: "Iran exploits financial systems to sell illicit oil, launder the proceeds, purchase components for its nuclear and conventional weapons programs, and support its terrorist proxies.".
He pledged to continue "Exerting maximum pressure on Iran to target the regime’s weapons capabilities and its support for terrorism".
