المملكة: King Abdullah Medical City .. Save a pilgrim life with an open heart operation
A medical team specialized at the Heart Health Center in King Abdullah Medical City, a member of the Makkah Al -Mukarramah Health Gathering, succeeded in saving the life of an Iraqi pilgrim, 59 years old, after suffering a sharp stroke in the coronary artery that almost claimed his life.
The Makkah Al -Mukarramah Health Rally explained that the medical city received the case urgently, and the diagnostic catheter showed severe narrowing of the coronary arteries, which necessitated immediate surgical intervention.
Surgery took 3 hours
An urgent open heart operation took place 3 hours, with the grace of God – with success. She pointed out that after the operation, the patient was transferred to the intensive care room, and the artificial respirators were separated on the same day.
The patient began gradual recovery until his condition stabilized and recovered, amid advanced medical care, and an integration of health services provided by the city to the guests of Rahman.
