A mechanism that protects doctors and prevents abuses
According to the information obtained by “Today”, the ministry has set a 48 -hour deadline for the treating doctor to approve the pathological leave through the application of “Anaa” after it was registered on the “Health” platform. This procedure is part of an integrated process aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability in issuing pathological holidays.
The ministry emphasized that this change is limited to the holidays issued through the “Health” platform, and does not affect technical integration with other systems used in issuing pathological holidays. Adding that adding the role of the health practitioner in adopting sick leave before issuing them comes within the framework of its keenness to ensure the accuracy and safety of the procedures.
With regard to the steps for registration in the application of “Annha” for health practitioners, the ministry indicated that it includes several facilitated procedures, as the health practitioner requires filling the registration form and introducing the national identity ”with the requirement that he has a professional registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties linked to the registered identity”, and the introduction of the date of birth and e -mail. The steps also include entering the selected verification code into the mobile number registered in the “Absher”, and entering the selected verification code to the email.
The Ministry indicated that the application of “Annas” allows health practitioners to make several decisions on satisfactory leave, where they can approve or reject them after verifying the details of the disease or leave, or returning them to correction in the event of a difference from the doctor’s recommendation.
The Ministry called for communication via the number 920009080 for inquiries related to the new service.
The Ministry of Health recently warned against dealing with the accounts that promote to issue satisfactory leave in irregular ways through social media, stressing that these practices are a crime that requires regular penalties.
She explained that the penalties include everyone who issues an incorrect medical report or contrary to the truth, as the penalty reaches imprisonment for a year, and a fine of 100,000 riyals.

She emphasized that the regular method of obtaining pathological holidays is carried out through the “Sahiti” platform, which guarantees the reliability of medical reports, and enhances the ease of communication between the employee and his work and health facilities, which achieves the highest standards of transparency and quality in providing health services.
The Ministry called on individuals to beware of the fake accounts that promote such irregular services, stressing the importance of relying on the “Sahiti” platform to ensure the validity of the reports and safety of procedures, indicating that they periodically review the pathological holidays and their compatibility with the medical registry of the beneficiary through a digital platform that enables collection and comparing data, in order to seek a higher effectiveness of pathological holidays and ensure the appropriate use of them.
In this context, the Ministry stressed the health practitioners to adhere to granting satisfactory leave to those who deserve it only, according to the health status of the beneficiary, and to adhere to the ethics of the profession and medical responsibility.
