We will not accept mystery in any new agreement on the Black Sea

Russia Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the Russian and American talks in Riyadh focused on the issue of navigation safety in the Black Sea, stressing the need for clear guarantees of any new agreement regarding them.
“What was discussed there (in Riyadh yesterday), as (Russian President Vladimir) Putin and (US President Donald) agreed, is primarily the issues of safe navigation in the Black Sea,” Lavrov said in an interview with Russian Channel..
Lavrov pointed out that Moscow supports the resumption of the Black Sea initiative, with its shape to be more acceptable to all, stressing that Russia is concerned about the food security of Africa, South and World East, which suffers from “Western tricks”.
Lavrov said that the Russian negotiators in Riyadh reminded their American counterparts of the reasons for the failure of the Black Sea initiative in the past, and added that Moscow confirmed that it would not tolerate any ambiguity or thumb about the proposals about the Black Sea.
Lavrov said: “Our position is simple: We cannot believe this man’s words,” referring to Vladimir Zellinski, noting that Russia wants “the grain and fertilizer market to be predictable”, and that no one tries to keep Russia away from these markets..
Lavrov explained that Russia agreed to all requests of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding the Black Sea initiative, but Kiev has always changed her opinion at the last minute.
He continued: “We need clear guarantees. Given our sad experience of agreements with Kiev, these guarantees can only be a result of orders that Washington gives to Zelinski and his team to do something or another.”
