“Dubai Roads” win 3 international awards for “strategic digital transformation”

Dubai Roads and Transport Authority won three prestigious awards from the International ICMG ICMG, specialized in the field of information technology strategy and services. The authority was honored for best practices in three main categories: digital transformation in the transport sector, cloud and institutional computing solutions, thanks to its pioneering project “Strategic Digital Transformation”, which the authority announced within its digital strategy 2023-2030.

The ICMG Awards are among the most prestigious awards that are awarded annually to companies and institutions that have achieved prominent achievements in the application of modern technical solutions that support innovation and efficiency in different work environments.

The digital transformation project includes 82 initiatives and a project at a total cost of up to 1.6 billion dirhams. It aims to enhance the global leadership of the authority in the field of digital transformation, based on optimal benefit from data, and to achieve the authority’s vision in providing easy, sustainable and safe transportation.

The project also aims to build a technical and flexible transfer sector, and enhances optimal investment in data with a focus on artificial intelligence, huge data, and human efficiency. The project also includes a road map for digital transformation and integrating separate systems into integrated platforms to enhance operational efficiency, adopting artificial intelligence technologies and huge data, with the aim of providing easy and soft services characterized by alert, speed and accuracy of achievement.
