164 doctors, 701 operations and 3673 consultations carried out by “visiting doctors” in 2024

The office of visiting doctors at the Emirates Health Services Corporation achieved exceptional achievements during the year 2024, strengthening its position as a leading destination in attracting global medical expertise, as last year witnessed a remarkable increase in the number of visiting doctors to the health facilities of the Foundation and covered specializations, which reflected positively on the quality of health care provided.

In 2024, the visiting doctors’ office attracted 164 doctors from the elite of experts and international health practitioners, who performed 701 specific surgeries, and provided 3673 medical consultations in 49 different specialties, as these visits had a decisive role in enhancing the capacity of the institution’s health facilities to provide advanced services according to the highest international standards, and the pioneering program succeeded in enhancing the institution’s position at the regional level through more than one. 400 robotic surgery in the field of women’s surgery, thus becoming the first health in the Middle East to achieve this number.

In the context of developing specialized services, visiting doctors’ office has contributed to activating the home artificial respiration service for children, in addition to activating the Bronch -Children’s Lipstick Program in partnership with the Philadelphia Hospital for Children and performing 60 successful operations since the start of the program, as well as performing 300 cardiac catheters and 25 open heart surgery in its efforts to develop cardiovascular treatment services in Al Qasimi Hospital and Al Qasimi Hospital for Women, Children and Children, and the use of smart technologies For early detection of a stroke using artificial intelligence in hospitals.

The Executive Director of the Acting Medical Services Sector at the Emirates Health Services Corporation, Dr. Essam Al -Zarouni, affirmed that these achievements reflect the Foundation’s commitment to providing innovative and sustainable medical care, and that the program of visiting doctors is one of the strategic initiatives that contribute to enhancing the quality of health care in the country, especially in dealing with exceptional or complex cases that require specialized experiences, which contributes to establishing the position of the Emirates As a leading therapeutic destination.

For its part, the director of the visiting doctors office, Dr. Nour Al -Muhairi, indicated that the success of the visiting doctors ’office in attracting international doctors enhances the quality of medical services, and provides national cadres with opportunities to enhance knowledge and develop experience In the country.

Since its launch, the visiting doctors program has played a pivotal role in training and developing the capabilities of health cadres, as he launched more than 145 training courses, benefiting more than 3000 health practitioners, in addition to its active participation in many specialized specialized conferences and scientific forums, to continue with these achievements to establish his position as one of the most prominent initiatives supporting the efforts of the Emirates Foundation for Health Services in developing the health care sector in the UAE.
