President Sisi directs the development of Egyptian airports according to the highest international standards

President Abdel -Fattah El -Sisi met today in the city of El Alamein, with Dr. Sameh Al -Hefni, Minister of Civil Aviation, and Mrs. Suhair Abdullah, President of EgyptAir Air Services, to follow up on the comprehensive strategic vision of the advancement of the civil aviation sector in all its components. Ways to enhance the efficiency of the Egyptian aviation sector, by developing the air navigation system, modernizing the fleet of aircraft, upgrading airports, and developing human capabilities, in the context of supporting the state’s targets to reach the number of tourists to 30 million tourists annually. Building (4) at Cairo International Airport, where the Minister of Aviation presented the technical and operational specifications of the project that aims to establish a new passenger building with a capacity of at least 30 million passengers, raising the total airport energy to more than 60 million passengers annually, taking into account the highest standards of safety, security and environmental sustainability. Through international partnerships based on efficiency and sustainability, and stimulating the participation of the private sector, within the framework of Egypt Vision 2030, to convert airports into advanced regional centers that adopt the latest global operational systems, and provides an attractive investment environment. International Finance (IFC), explaining that work is underway to finish it before the end of the summer of 2025, with the aim of developing 11 major airports and raising operational efficiency while maintaining the public ownership of biological assets, pointing to the presidential guidance with the launch of Hurghada Airport for the partnership by the end of 2025.

The meeting also discussed the air navigation file, where Mr. President praised the efficiency The Egyptian Air Monitoring System, which succeeded in managing an air movement exceeding 1,600 aircraft per day, despite the recent regional crises, and won the praise of international organizations such as & quot; euroconrol & quot; And & quot; ICAO & quot; And & quot; Ayata & quot;. The plan to restructure the Egyptian airspace was reviewed and its administrative systems and communication devices were updated.
