The Qatar team loses three goals against Kyrgyzstan and threatens its chances to qualify for the World Cup 2026

Qatar’s team received a heavy blow to its hopes of direct qualification for the 2026 World Cup in America, Canada and Mexico after losing outside its stadium against Kyrgyzstan 3/3 in the eighth round of the first group of the qualifiers, today, Tuesday.
Kyrgyzstan ended the first half ahead with a goal scored by Valerie Quixen in the first minute of stoppage time.
Al -Annabi realized a draw in the second half with a goal scored by Lucas Mendes in the 52nd minute.
But the AFCs suffered from the numerical deficiency after the expulsion of Lucas Mendes in the 55th minute, to complete the Qatari team with ten players.
The Kyrgyzstan national team took advantage of the opportunity, and snatched the victory with two goals for Alexander Mishchenko and Eladrdon Shokurov in the 82nd and 93rd minutes, to kidnap the owners of the land three precious points, reviving his hopes of competition for the attachment card.
With this loss, the Qatar national team remained fourth with 10 points, two rounds before the end of the current stage of the qualifiers, leaving the goal difference from the third -placed UAE team, and in front of them, Uzbekistan, 16 points, and Iran in the lead with 19 points.
Later today, Iran will meet Iran against Uzbekistan, while the UAE team is a guest of North Korea in the same round.
Kyrgyzstan raised its score to 6 points in fifth place, behind North Korea in the bottom of the ranking with two points.
