The reason for Mohamed Salah’s absence from the Egyptian national team camp for the month of March

Arne Sloat, Liverpool’s coach, announced the absence of his star Mohamed Salah from the Egypt national team camp due to injury.
Mohamed Salah had asked to be replaced in Liverpool’s last match against Galatasaray in Turkey in the Champions League.
The Egyptian star suffered an injury and left the field in the 75th minute of the match, and Cody Jacobo participated in his place.
Slot confirmed that Mohamed Salah will be absent from the Egypt national team camp during the upcoming international break this March.
The Egyptian national team will play two friendly matches in March, where it will meet against the Saudi national team on March 27 in Jeddah, then it will play against Spain in Barcelona on the 31 of the same month.
Arne Slott said: “Mohamed Salah’s injury is unusual, but the result is that he will not be available for Saturday’s match.”
He added: “It is fortunate for Liverpool that we will move to the international break, but this is bad news for the Egyptian national team, as they will not be able to travel there.”
The Dutch coach continued: “It is a muscle injury. We hope, based on what Mohamed Salah has shown in the past, that he will recover from this injury faster than other players.”
The Liverpool coach concluded by saying: “Mohamed Salah is taking good care of his body, and he can return before others. As history has proven, there are only two weeks left until we return to the matches again after the international agenda period.”
It is noteworthy that Liverpool will meet, before the international break, Brighton at the Falmer Stadium, on Saturday, in the 31st round of the English Premier League.
