المملكة: The seizure of 150 violating tourism offices providing unlicensed services

The Ministry of Tourism has intensified its supervisory efforts on the offices of tourism activities, including flight regulation offices and travel and tourism offices, as it implemented in cooperation with partners from the various security and government agencies about 300 supervisory visits in a number of cities and regions of the Kingdom, which resulted in the seizure of about 150 violating tourist offices that provide irregular services.
These efforts come within the framework of the Ministry’s continuous endeavor to organize work in the tourism sector, and to ensure the compliance of the providers of tourism services to the tourism system and its executive regulations, especially with regard to obtaining regular licenses, in a manner that ensures the quality of the services provided and preserved the rights of beneficiaries.

Control tours

The supervisory tours included Riyadh, Madinah, Al -Baha, Jizan and Al -Ahsa, with the participation of a number of relevant government agencies, including the Ministry of Interior represented by Public Security, the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and the General Authority for Transport, and the penalties established will be applied according to the regulations in force to violators.
The Ministry stressed the importance of the commitment of tourism activities to obtain the necessary licenses from the Ministry of Tourism, according to what the tourism system and its executive regulations stipulated, to ensure the provision of high -quality services to tourists and visitors, and to keep pace with the accelerating developments taking place in the tourism sector in the Kingdom.

Tourist activities

The Ministry of Tourism is working through the “Our Guests Priority” campaign to enhance the commitment of all workers in tourism activities to licenses and classification standards, especially with regard to obtaining ministry licenses, and compliance with the requirements and regular requirements.
