The new industrial zone is located on an area of ​​10 million square meters, south of the Alexandria-Matrouh Highway, opposite the “Ras Al-Hikma” project, and the industrial zone will focus in the first stage to attract the building materials industries necessary to develop the “Ras Al-Hikma” project, to be a major supporter of construction and construction work, in a manner that guarantees the progress of business according to the specified time plans, with the highest levels of efficiency in cost management, and by using advanced and sustainable materials.

The industrial zone is also characterized by its vital location, which is easy to reach to the most important roads, main airports and rapid train networks, which contributes to strengthening local supply chains and thus supporting the project implementation with high efficiency.

This partnership comes in cooperation with the “Al Suwaidi Industrial Development Company”, which is one of the leading companies in Egypt and the region in establishing and developing integrated industrial societies, accompanied by integrated facilities, equipped with advanced structure, logistical services, and sustainable operational solutions, as a new step within a series of strategic partnerships held with the aim of enhancing the pace of development work in the project; At the same time, it reflects the depth of the commitment of “cities” in cooperation with Egyptian companies to implement the main plan for the “Ras Al -Hikma” project.

Both “cities” and “Al -Suwaidi” are working in the current stage to attract industrial investors and the main partners, while giving priority to the leading Egyptian companies in the strategic sectors qualified to enhance the growth of the industrial sector, and this also includes coordination with international investors, with the aim of establishing an integrated industrial system that contributes to achieving the development goals of the project and enhances its investment attractiveness.

The first list of companies that signed memoranda of understanding includes a process with “cities” to supply building materials and other materials for the project, in addition to studying opportunities to create factories or industrial lines in the new industrial zone, and contribute to the development of the “Ras Al -Hikma” project both: “Al -Suwaidi Electric”, the Egyptian company specialized in the field of electrical products, energy and water solutions … and “Three S for Ready Made”, affiliated to the “Hassan Group Allam “, which is one of the largest ready -made concrete providers in Egypt … and” Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics “, one of the largest brands in the world’s ceramic sector, which was launched from the United Arab Emirates … and” Hatetek for the Troted “of the” Tarjen Group for Construction “, the pioneering provider of concrete products in the United Arab Emirates.

The long -term vision of the industrial zone is not limited to meeting the requirements of the construction phase of the “Ras Al -Hikma” project, but rather to establish a sustainable industrial base that supports economic activities throughout the year, provides qualitative job opportunities, and contributes to enhancing the gross domestic product of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
