"Sharjah’s cultural " Its cultural program for 2025 continues locally and Arably

Sharjah, March 28 / WAM / His Excellency Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Owais, Head of the Culture Department in Sharjah, affirmed the department’s continuation of its pioneering role in cultural and intellectual development through its cultural program for the year 2025 under the kind patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Union, the Ruler of Sharjah, who made Sharjah a station of attention and an important destination for science and culture through the cultural movement that His Highness drew through programs and cultural events that It is organized by the Department of Culture in Sharjah.

He explained that the Sharjah Forum for Cultural Honoring will soon continue its Arab tour, as it will come on April 9 in the Arab Republic of Egypt to launch its 21 edition with the aim of honoring the Arab personalities that contributed to the service of Arab culture. On April 14-15, the 28th edition of the Sharjah Prize for Arab Innovation is witnessed the first publication, as the award emerges as one of the most important literary awards in the Arab world and a unique platform to discover young literary talents.

And he pointed out that next May will witness the launch of the Tetouan Festival of Moroccan Poets in its sixth session from 9 to 11, as well as the 12th edition of the Sharjah School Theater Festival from 12 to 15 May, which celebrates the young players in Sharjah schools with all its training workshops, lectures and theater performances, while it is held during the period from 23-27 May, Dibba Al -Hosn Festival for the Bilateral Theater in its eighth session as it witnesses The Jordanian capital, Amman, on May 28, the activities of the twenty -second session of the Sharjah Forum for Cultural Honoring, in addition to the launch of the Sharjah Award for Criticism of Arab Poetry and the 16th session of the Sharjah Award for Plastic Critical Research entitled (Inspection of Arab Heritage in Contemporary Arab Fine Art) that discuss vital artistic topics by Arab writers, critics and academics.

The Culture Department in Sharjah also continues its cultural programs by organizing poetic evenings and seminars in the House of Poetry, the Literary Breaking Council, the Khorfakkan Literary Council, and the Kalba Literary Council, in addition to the continued organization of artistic workshops in the Arabic calligraphy center in the calligraphy square.
