Al-Ahly youth threatens Al-Jazeera… and the summit of “improving centers” between victory and unity

Today, the professional football league competitions enter the 21st round, which witnesses three important confrontations, in light of intense competition for the various ranking positions, starting from the top spot, passing through the qualifying positions for external competitions, all the way to the relegation battle in which eight clubs are competing together, for the first time in the history of the competition.

Shabab Al-Ahly – Al Jazeera

Shabab Al-Ahly seeks to restore their reputation against Al-Jazira, who ousted them from the semi-finals of the President’s Cup last month with a 1-0 victory, in addition to regaining the top spot in the league, when the two teams meet at 20:30 pm at Rashid Stadium.

“Dubai Knights” occupies second place with 49 points, one point behind leaders Al Ain (50 points), which gives them the opportunity to temporarily ascend to the top if they win, pending the result of “Al Zaeem”’s confrontation against Ajman on Sunday.

On the other hand, Al Jazira enters the match in high spirits after qualifying for the cup final, and “Abu Dhabi Pride” occupies third place with 37 points, and realizes that victory represents the best option to maintain its position among the qualifying positions for external participation, after a long absence from it.

Shabab Al-Ahly is missing the services of its player, Nemanja Maksimovic, due to suspension, after he was expelled during the cup match for objecting to the referee, which led to the penalty being transferred to the league after the team’s exit from the tournament. On the other hand, Al-Jazira will not be affected by Mohamed Rabie’s yellow card, as his suspension will be applied in the cup final against Al-Ain.

Victory – unity

Al-Nasr will host its counterpart Al-Wahda at 17:50 pm at Al Maktoum Stadium, in a confrontation bearing the character of restoring balance for both teams.

Al-Ameed will go into the match in sixth place with 27 points, after being relatively far from danger. He is looking forward to regaining his spark and re-entering the race for external qualifying positions, and at the very least competing for a seat in the Gulf Champions League.

On the other hand, “Al Annabi” enters the confrontation in fourth place with 34 points, but it suffers from fluctuating results, after suffering two successive losses to Baniyas and Al Ain, which kept it out of the title race, and directed its focus towards maintaining a position that qualifies it for external participation.

Al Bataeh – Kalba

At 17:50 pm, Khalid Bin Mohammed Stadium will be the scene of a direct confrontation in the Al-Qaa struggle, when Al-Bataeh hosts its counterpart, Kalba, in light of the intense competition between eight clubs to escape relegation.

Al-Raqi enters the match in penultimate place with 17 points, collected from four victories and five draws against 11 defeats. It did not succeed in achieving two consecutive victories at home this season, but it has a chance to enhance its results after its victory in the penultimate round over Ajman with a clean goal. Kalba occupies tenth place with 21 points, and realizes that the small difference does not give it security, and it will be required to double its efforts to obtain the three points. The team suffers from weak offensive effectiveness, as it is considered the least accurate in shooting on goal by 38%. It will also miss the services of its player Sekou Gassama due to suspension.
