15.4% increase profits "education" During the first half

Dubai, March 28/ WAM/ The net profit of the education company listed in the Dubai Financial Market increased to 160.2 million dirhams by 15.4% during the first half of the 2024/25 academic year, which ends on February 28.
According to a press release issued today, operational profits increased before taxes, benefits, depreciation and consumption at an annual rate of 13% to 251.2 million dirhams during the first half of the year, as the growth of revenues contributed to compensating for the impact of high costs during the same period.
The revenues grew at a rate of 18.2%to record 648.8 million dirhams during the first half, driven by the high rate of students registration in distinguished schools by 18.8%, as well as in the schools of partnerships with government agencies by 2.2%.
Khaled Al -Tayer, Chairman of the company, said: “Education” succeeded in continuing its strong financial and operational performance during the first half of the academic and financial year 2024/25, as it made remarkable progress and maintained its growth in a way that enhances its commitment to make a positive impact in the education of students while expanding its presence throughout the UAE.
He pointed out that education schools received 3156 additional students during the first half of the year, to reach the total capacity of the subsidiary schools 74.4%, while the capacity of the distinguished school portfolio reached 77%.
