The number of victims of forest fires in South Korea increased to 65

The death toll from the raging forest fires in southeast South Korea has risen to 28 dead and 37 injured, including nine, nine, serious.

Rescue efforts are continuing

The Korean Broadcasting Corporation “KPS” said today, Friday, that fire control efforts are still ongoing in the regions of “Wesung”, “Andong”, “Yonjokok”, “Yongiang” and “Chungsong” in the province of “Northern Jeongange”, as well as the Sanchong and Hadung regions in the southern “Jeongange” province.
The network added that forest fires destroyed about 3480 buildings, including homes and factories, as well as 48 thousand and 150 hectares of forest lands, in addition to forcing more than eight thousand people to displace their homes.
