Under the leadership of the United Nations .. Putin proposes the formation of a “temporary government” in Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has suggested that Ukraine temporarily put Ukraine under the supervision of the United Nations to elect what he described as a more “efficient” government, in the latest attempt by Putin to challenge the legitimacy of the Kiev government.

As for Ukraine, Kiev Putin was accused of offering “crazy” ideas to delay the progress of a peace agreement – supported by US President Donald Trump – at a time when the White House insisted that the constitution of Ukraine and its people will decide its fate.

Putin’s comments come at a time when the United States is seeking to mediate a cease -fire in the war between the two countries, which entered its fourth year.

Earlier, the White House announced on Tuesday that the two sides agreed on a limited truce in the Black Sea.

However, Russia then put forward a list of conditions, including lifting some Western sanctions, which raised fears that Moscow is trying to block any move towards the ceasefire.
