The UAE housing sector … billion billion credits and qualitative initiatives in the general community

Abu Dhabi, March 29 / WAM / The UAE witnessed in the first quarter of 2025 (the year of society) the launch of a wide package of citizens ’housing initiatives and projects that embodied the follow -up and interest of the rational leadership in this vital file to enhance family stability and the welfare of life for all the people of society.
The UAE is working to develop the housing sector of citizens at the federal and local levels according to an ambitious strategy based on innovation and excellence in solutions and services, which contributed to the high percentage of citizens to live to more than 91% until the end of 2024, which is one of the highest in the world.
– “Zayed Housing”
During the month of January, the UAE adopted housing approvals within the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program for more than 1300 citizens with a value exceeding one billion dirhams, stressing that the number of beneficiaries will be raised during the current year to meet all housing requests submitted to the program.
The waiting time for housing approval from the program is currently only two months and is among the least in the world.
From its founding in 1999 until the end of 2024, the program issued more than 90,000 residential support decisions, at a value of approximately 60 billion dirhams, which included all regions of the state.

The Emirate of Abu Dhabi witnessed the adoption of the disbursement of the first residential benefits package for 2025, coinciding with the coming of the blessed Eid Al -Fitr, which reached a total value of 6.75 billion dirhams, from which 4356 citizens benefited from.
The package includes residential loans with a total value of 5.08 billion dirhams, of which 3172 citizens have benefited, and the grants of lands and housing ready at a value 94.8 million dirhams, 84 citizens benefited from it.
With this package, the total residential benefits offered to citizens in Abu Dhabi since the establishment of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority increased to more than 123 thousand benefits, with a total value of about 168.85 billion dirhams.
During the month of February, the residential cataires project, which extends over an area of ​​1.23 million square meters, was launched at a total cost of 993.7 million dirhams, to provide 306 residential villas for citizens in Al Ain.
In a related context, the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi announced the launch of the “Facilitated Housing Solutions Project” that aims to enhance diversity in the real estate market in the emirate, and to improve the standard of living for individuals and families alike, as well as enhance the integration and societal ties that are essential elements that support the goals of the general community.

Dubai also witnessed last January, the announcement of the implementation of a package of housing projects worth 5.4 billion dirhams in several areas, in support of the Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum program for the family.
The housing projects plan, which provides new and varied options for citizens, includes the construction of 3004 new housing for citizens, with 1181 housing in Latifa for the category of loans, 606 housing in the fifth co -for the grant category, 432 housing in Wadi Al -Amdi for the grant category, 398 housing in the first Aweer for the grant category, and 200 housing in the (Makan) area in Hatta For the grant category, 120 houses in the Al -Muttina Oud for the Grants Category, and 67 housing in the rural areas and the Dubai Grants category.
In March, the Dubai Municipality launched the community initiative, “Al -Bayt is a priority”, with the aim of providing flexible and independent housing spaces, and providing integrated housing facilities to support and enable the construction of citizenship families, which contributes to alleviating the living burdens on them, and meeting their residential needs that enhance family stability and community cohesion.
Sharjah
In February 2025, the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah approved the first batch of those entitled to granting residential and investment lands, which number 1,200 beneficiaries, from the granting of residential lands, and 800 beneficiaries of granting investment lands, distributed over the cities and regions of the emirate.
