642 chapels and mosques for Eid al -Fitr prayer in Sharjah

Sharjah, March 29 / WAM / The Islamic Affairs Department announced the allocation of 642 chapels and mosques in various cities of the Emirate of Sharjah to perform the blessed Eid Al -Fitr prayer, and the chapels were distributed to all regions of the emirate, as the number of chapels and mosques in the city of Sharjah and the Hamriyah region reached 454, in the central region 103, and in the eastern region 85.

The department confirmed the readiness of the chapels to receive the worshipers, as the chapels were equipped with brushes and the installation of vocal devices, in addition to preparing the external squares to accommodate the large numbers of worshipers and their families, as well as coordination with the General Command of Sharjah Police and the Municipality of Sharjah and other concerned authorities to ensure the safety of worshipers and provide comfortable and reassurance atmosphere for them during the performance of Eid Al -Fitr prayer.

In a step that reflects the department’s interest in meeting the needs of all members of society, it has allocated a number of chapels and mosques to the sermons of Eid prayers in a number of languages, including Urdu, Malibaria, Tamiliya, and English.

Eid al -Fitr prayer will be performed in Sharjah and the Hamriyah area at exactly (06:28 am), in the city of Al Dhaid and Al -Battat area at (06:26 am), and in the Madam and Maliha area at 06:27 am, and in the eastern region at 06:25 am.

In a related context, the department concluded its Ramadan program, which included many advocacy and awareness activities throughout the blessed month of Ramadan, where final lessons were organized in all the mosques of the emirate that dealt with topics such as the virtue of zakat al -Fitr, its purposes, the amount, and the time of their payment, in addition to lessons on the etiquette and Sunnah of Eid Al -Fitr.
